Always a firm favourite in the training diary – come spaniel with us! Work on your hunting pattern, tighten up your turn whistle and prepare for the test season.
Held in beautiful woodland grounds consisting of a mixture of rushes and grass, bracken and some light bramble cover, this training day will include the fundamentals of hunting and getting your dog’s nose down, as well as successfully transitioning from hunting to retrieving. Training will cover steadiness to flush and/or shot and honouring another dog’s retrieve, all while working on your gallery manners between runs.
Lunch will be provided, and our Media Partner will capture your day in a curated album of images, to be shared with you following the event. Open to all spaniel breeds, non KC registered dogs and spaniel cross breeds are welcome. All dogs must be keen to retrieve, have a good recall and understand the basics of hunting. Shot will be used.
